What is an enhanced criminal search?

An enhanced criminal record search is an add‑on to our standard Canadian Criminal Record Check.

What is CPIC?

CPIC stands for “Canadian Police Information Centre.”

Why am I being asked questions about my credit?

This process does not check your credit, and it does not affect your credit score or history in any way. It simply uses information from your credit file to generate questions that help confirm your identity.

Can you do Vulnerable Sector Checks?

No. Vulnerable Sector Checks must be completed in person at your local police station.

I want to speak to someone, how do I book a demo?

If you are an employer interested in using Guhuza and would like more information, you can book a demo with our team through Calendly.

How do I download the Guhuza app?

Guhuza has launched a new mobile app to make job searching even easier. The app is currently available for iOS and Android, and is for job seekers only.

How do I log in to do a skills test?

If an employer requests skills testing, the job seeker will receive an email invitation for the test. After accepting the invitation, the job seeker will be prompted to log in to their Guhuza account, and the test will begin once they are signed in.

Can I see my test results?

Skills test results are shared only with the employers who request or administer the test. Guhuza does not provide test results directly to job seekers and is not involved in the hiring process.

What do I do if my hiring assessment or skills test doesn’t load?

If your assessment freezes or does not load, close it and try opening it again. Make sure your system and browser settings are up to date before starting the test. You can resume the assessment by logging back into your Guhuza account.

What do I do if I receive the wrong invite to a hiring assessment or skills test?

Guhuza does not administer assessments directly to job seekers. If you believe you received the wrong test invitation, please contact the employer who sent it to confirm or request the correct assessment.
